Anything with MSG (monosodium glutamate, or modified food starch) will cause fluid retention.
MSG has tons of sodium, which is hidden and not even salty tasting. Think about how thirsty you get after eating at a Chinese restaurant or even any fast-food restaurant. Water follows sodium.

Try to buy dressings that contain no soy oil, no corn oil, and no canola oil. Most of these oils are GMO.

Recommendation:
Bragg salad dressings but this is rarely available in local market. As a simple, alternative, mix balsamic vinegar and olive oil, or even apple cider vinegar and olive oil, as a dressing.
