Someone invited you for a celebration but worry about the non-keto party foods that are going to serve?
There will be a constant distraction with social situations: Birthdays, events, universities, holidays, going out with family.

Also make it a personal agreement it is hard to get back on track if we go off our plan. After a birthday party, you eat your cake, and the next day, the leftovers; then the following day(s). With this behaviour, once your blood sugars drop, keeping you searching for more crack..., sugar. Realise that it is hard to get into fat burning and very easy to go out of it.
Here are a few tips:
Ensure that you do not go into these situations too hungry ā even eat something before you go. The hunger combined with the environment will be rough on your willpower
If you do cheat, then make up for the damage and eat super clean the next day and take an extra supply of your nutrients.
Tell the waiter/ waitress to not bring bread to the table or offer dessert
Bring your own keto-friendly substitute to your favourite restaurant. For example, bring along keto buns to replace the ordinary burger buns served.
If you have an event at your house, add some healthy substitute foods ā people will not know the difference, and you control what everyone eats.
Attending party occasions with alcohol served?
Some may ask...
Are alcohol keto-friendly?
Many low-carb alcohol options are available if you follow a keto diet.
For instance, pure forms of alcohol like whiskey, gin, tequila, rum and vodka are all completely free of carbs.
These beverages can be drunk straight or combined with low-carb mixers for more flavor.
White wine and light varieties of beer are also relatively low in carbs ā usually 3ā4 grams per serving.
HOWEVER...
As we mentioned earlier in one of our previous post, liver is the main organ to detox and filter off the harmful chemicals that enter your body, therefore it is advice to avoid all the above if possible because alcohol will affect your liver badly and make you feel fatigue down the road.
Stay away from alcohol no matter what diet you are in okay?
āļøI would recommend you to drink kombucha instead of alcohol since alcohol is bad for your liver and your liver health is way more crucial than your enjoyment.
āļøFortunately, most of the sugar is consumed by the SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast). Smaller amounts of sugar that aren't consumed during fermentation remain. If left alone in this state, kombucha can be enjoyed on the keto diet as it is low in sugar and carbohydrates.
ā ļøHowever make sure to read label and ensure no additional juice concentrate and sugar are added.
ā ļøWhen you enjoy kombucha, simply adjust your other foods so you can be sure you are staying within the appropriate carbohydrate range without running the risk of throwing your body out of ketosis.
