Recipe - Keto Tuna Cheesy Balls

【Keto Tuna Cheesy Balls】


Another beautiful piece to share!


Admin made a little alteration to input some cheesy element in the recipe!



All you need is...

1 can of Ayam Brand Tuna chunks in organic olive oil, wild caught (drained)

Some salted butter


Seasonings:

Part 1

Half nos Yellow onion (diced)

1 tsp Garlic powder

1/4 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Black pepper


Part 2

1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese (shreded)


For coating:

1 nos Egg

Psyllium husk

Coconut flour


Method:

1. Drained a can of tuna and stir fry on a pan with some butter and yellow onion. Sautee for a while and add in the remaining seasoning listed in Part 1

2. Put aside to let cold, after this mix well with shreded mozzarella.

3. Shape them into ball that weight about 15g per ball and keep in freezer at least 3 hours to harden the shape formed.

4. Bring out from freezer, beat the egg and preheat a small wok of oil for deep frying at about 140 Celsius

5. To coat them, bring the pre-shaped tuna balls with some coconut flour, then dip in for egg wash and lastly coat in psyllium husk

6. Test the oil and make sure the oil reach the ideal frying temperature and then deep fry to golden brown for about 3-4 minutes ( I recommend to observe with your eyes once the colour brown enough then you can remove from the oil.


Done and serve!
