Craving for classic carbonara since the day my keto diet began. Getting MOKI oat fiber spaghetti (keto-friendly) from Bread & Better (IG name: @breadandbetter.co) was the right choice because it made my pasta lunch dream come true!
🍝Classic Carbonara Recipe
(For 1 pax serving)
Ingredients:
1pkt (200g) MOKI keto pasta (spaghetti)
70g Smoked bacon (cubed)
1/4 tsp Himalaya salt
1/2 tsp Parsley (chopped)
8g Unsalted butter
10g Garlic (chopped)
2nos Egg yolk
20g Parmesan cheese (grated)
Some black pepper for garnish
Method:
1. Heat up pan and add in butter
2. Stir fry garlic with bacon
3. Add in keto pasta and stir fry for 2 minutes, drizzle in some water while stir frying.
4. Season with salt and black pepper.
5. Add in parsley, stir and switch off the flame.
6. At this point, while the mixture is still warm, add in grated Parmesan cheese and egg yolks and stir well to make the pasta creamy.
7. Plate, garnish with some fresh grind course black pepper, parmesan cheese, parsley and it’s ready to serve!
